For Liz: Thanksgiving Wrap-Up

First, we ate great food. Jenna outdid herself with a HUGE Mennonite-raised organic turkey, her signature rolls, apple stuffing, wonderful cranberry dressing...it was divine:

Mom and Dad got their share:

Chrissy and Tom - post-wedding bliss:

Chrissy's having troubles keeping her mouth closed:

The pie table was groaning:

The girls did some table dancing in princess dresses:

Someone got a little pouty when she couldn't fit on the table:

A few glasses of wine later:

We missed you, Liz. Wish I could have snapped some pics of you stuffing your mouth with pie.

It's been too long...

....since I posted here. New Year's resolutions are coming, and I know what's going to be on my list.

I often think of things that I want to write - daily recaps, layouts to post, funny things the kids say that I want to remember...at 10 pm when I am tucked into bed, about to open my current book. I think to myself, do I head back downstairs, in the cold and in the dark and write this down, or do I open this and jump back into the story, tucked into my bed? The bed always wins.

I should write in the notebook that should be tucked on the nightstand, with mont blanc inked and ready to go, but I'm fairly certain the toddler monkey or her notebook-hogging big sis have long ago taken those away.
